In the Madness Combat series, explosives are weapons or devices that are used to cause detonations, such as launchers and bombs. Explosives are often very powerful and able to wound several people per hit. They can also be used to destroy equipment or break down doors. In the Madness games, explosives can cause damage to the users if they are too close to the explosion. The first explosive weapon used is the frag grenade in Madness Combat 1.
