Slaughter Time™ is an arena in MADNESS: Project Nexus' Arena Mode where it is unlocked alongside The Haunting of Nevada House after the completion of Fast Track. Located within the Cylinder of Sin, this game show requires the Player to survive against the Gudgeons, mindless clones programmed for the game. Hosted by Garrett Goyle, whom frequently chimes in before, during and after waves providing colorful commentary.

The arena in Endless Mode
Unlike previous arenas, the player is not dropped into the combat arena instantly, instead spawning on an elevator (along with any hirelings) and taken to a desk, where a Bouncer G03LM awaits and tells you that your changing room is down the hall. There is a small store right next to the desk where the player can buy Slaughter Time outfits. As the player progresses through each Arena Checkpoint, more and more fans will start lining up to get a glimpse and even take pictures of your character and asking for autographs.
The changing room remains the same throughout each wave, a small mirror to look at themselves, a radio that plays music, and a glimpse the Cylinder of Sin through the window. When the player enters the next door, ON AIR will be displayed in bright neon lettering and the player will be taken to the arena.
The arena itself is relatively small and very similar in shape to The Foundry before it, with two ramps on each side that lead up to slight elevation with no change in function until the Endless Waves are reached where the Arena will sport a fan in the lower center of the map which will instantly kill anything that enters it, regardless of corpus remaining. As the Gudgeons will never drop weapons, the only weapons that can be acquired in the map are through exploding presents, the armament they provide depending on the wave they spawn:
Waves 1-3, the presents will only contain low-tier weapons such as the BNP9 or Wooden Board. From Wave 4 and beyond, they will contain gear such as the Fantasy Sword, N.Blaster, or TN45. Caution should be exercised, as it is possible for these weapons to be launched from the presents over the railing.
Tactics
- The unique projectiles fired from the ranged Gudgeons will completely ignore any Tac-Bar the player might have, so avoiding them with high Dodge skills or Snap-Dodging is highly recommended. Origins with weak dodging such as Massive should instead prioritize the ranged targets instead. A single burst can easily destroy your corpus should all of them be allowed to hit.
- The projectiles can also not be deflected nor reflected.
- Elves have a brief delay when they teleport. They also are very susceptible to well-timed Melee or Unarmed attacks.
- The Presents that spawn weapons can damage anyone that stands around it in an explosion akin to a Flashbang. This could also cause dizziness to both you and enemies, avoiding the presents until they explode is recommended.
- The blades during the Endless Waves will kill anyone that steps into it regardless of corpus. This includes you and your hirelings, so caution is recommended with dodging in the vicinity, or when charging as Massive.
- Large capacity firearms such as Assault Rifles or SMGs can easily kill entire groups in a single clip when grouped up.
- Backup can be called in to help with distractions, but should not be overly relied on as even the highest tier soldiers could be killed swiftly due to the projectile's properties.
- Rooks and Mooshers will always turn very slowly, so circling around them is viable.
- Mooshers cannot be hit five times with melee or unarmed attacks for a free takedown unlike other G03LMs, so said tactic should be ignored for them.
