Church is a G03LM working for MERC. Church and Jorge are recurring bosses and supporting antagonists in MADNESS: Project Nexus.

Appearance

Church is a MERC G03LM who has hair styled into a mohawk, sporting a grey MERC uniform under a bullet vest wrapped in caution tape, black boots, fingerless gloves, an electrified backpack to power their weapons, and a single filter gas mask attached to their face through a series of 4 belts. The lenses look like angry glaring eyes.

Personality

Unlike their G03LM brethren, who speak with formal, yet cold and authoritative language, Church and Jorge are a pair of foul-mannered brutes full of machismo, often calling their opponents losers and bragging about their pain tolerance, constant comebacks, and their "fighting ethic" -- something they often violate by calling for reinforcements, showing that the pair aren't as honorable as they make themselves out to be.

Church is the more aggressive of the duo, specializing in melee weapons and acting as a point man while Jorge offers covering fire. The duo are seemingly not bothered by their losses to Sanford and Deimos, claiming that they can come back with different tactics every time.

Abilities

Their combat prowess and durability are far above most G03LM's as they and Jorge are capable of fighting on the same level as their rivals Sanford and Deimos.

Church also has surprising agility for a G03LM, as they are capable of both running at high speeds and jumping great heights and distances. They love to rush their target down, close the distance, and stun them, often leaving their prey open for a takedown.

As shown in Deimos and Sanford's second encounter with Church and Jorge, Church has shown to be capable of firing lightning ball projectiles with limited homing capability. They can also seemingly channel electricity into their attacks.

Their fighting style is focused on melee combat, in contrast to Jorge's focus on ranged weaponry.

Story Mode

Church and Jorge are first encountered by their soon-to-be rivals Sanford and Deimos near the end of the stage The Boom Factory, being their ultimate obstacle in their quest for the explosives to use on the Sheriff's Station Fortress gate. In this fight Church is equipped with a pair of electrified gloves that resemble defibrillators.

The duo returns in The Scenic Route, making a surprise appearance by breaking through the ceilings of the sewers. This time Church and Jorge have equipped themselves with plates of armor for extra protection. While Jorge changes up his weapons (now wielding a flamethrower and a riot shield instead of his rifle from last time), Church continues to use the same electrified gloves from the last battle. However, this time around they are capable of shooting electric charges from their electrified gloves, serving as a ranged attack.

Church's third appearance is in Flood Control where they make yet another surprise appearance, leaping out of the water while equipped with diving suits. Unlike the last two fights, Church and Jorge challenge Sanford and Deimos to a fair tag-team battle, simply because they are "bored". During this battle Church is equipped with an electrified trident, which can extend to grab/attack targets from afar much like Sanford's Hook, as well as the usual electric knuckles. Once either Church or Jorge is killed, the "fair fight" policy is revoked and several MERCs will storm the arena.

The pair's final appearance is in The Rush. Once more revived, they are now armored like Tower Guards, with Church wielding a hi-tech Heavy Machine Gun and some type of Grenade Launcher, both powered by Dissonant Reality energy, given their purple lights. However before the fight can begin they are crushed to death by Mag Agent: Gestalt.

During the credits, Church and Jorge are shown being revived yet again by MERC.
